Excellent value for money!

I felt I should leave a review on here as at this time there was none in response to this item.I trawled the internet in search of a good deal on a food mixer and came across this on Amazon. Together with the added attachments this appeared to be good value for money so I ordered it on here from Hi-Fi Tower. The package was sent via UPS (trackable) so I knew what day it would arrive (5 days sooner than the expected date). Ordered Sunday AM, arrived the following Wednesday PM!I used it last night to mix bread dough and have this to say so far...It is a very quiet machine (considering it is 1200w I expected it to be louder than it was), it's well built with a cover for the blender and meat grinder attachment points when not in use. Glass blender, stainless steel bowl and accessories all well made.The machine did not move around at all while mixing dough on speed 3/4. The mixing action appears to cover the bowl with minimal clearance therefore mixing all ingredients placed in it well.This mixer comes with a UK adapter plug as stated in the description.Overall I am very pleased I decided on this mixer having taken a gamble without having read any reviews on it.The only downside is that no recipe booklet is supplied only a brief user guide. Ah well, back to the internet then!If this review helps to convince you to buy this one I'm sure you will not be disappointed!

this is a great stand mixer.... it comes with a balloon whisk,dough hook,liquidiser,mincer,& sausage making attatchments.The mixer is very good quality, with a strong motor..(makes light work of kneading dough!!).. for its price, it is superb,its only downside is the lack of an instruction manual for the attatchments, but its all pretty simple to work out.... overall verdict?... for its price it is brilliant... very good vfm, & happy to recommend it.P.S.... after reading that it is only supposed to run for a max of 5 mins.... rubbish!!!! mine kneads dough for 15 mins without any heat/smell/noise!! would happily leave it on for 25/30 mins.this IS a good quality machine.

So near and yet so far

Upon delivery and first inspection this machine appeared extremely promising. The whole thing seems to fit together well, is sufficiently sturdy, and is attractive. The mincer - an attachment I expressly need - had exactly the coarse grind plate I was in need of, and appeared identical in all important respects to the Kenwood Chef's mincer, which I know works very well.The motor, being more powerful, promisedgood performance, too.However, when I read the instructions, it became clear that one can only use the mixer for 5 minutes at a time, before stopping to let the machine rest. Since most bread recipes call for 10 minutes kneading, that was a major flaw I couldn't really forgive, and so it went back to the seller. If you can live with that though, and allow the machine to cool down before continuing to knead, then maybe it's the machine for you.Apart from an overhaulk of its innards to allow it to run for longer and work harder without threatening to explode, the machine would benefit from a flexi-beater, as provided with the Kenwood Chef, which is just a joy to use, and a pain to be without. I could have forgiven that absence if the thing could actually work for the required 10 to 15 minutes though.
